Yay Etsy

I had my first sales this past week. I asked other sellers and apparently it's not normal to have your first sales so soon. That made me feel pretty spiffy.

Now I'm working on a this hand painted cake stand. So far, it's turned out pretty damn awesome. I can't wait to finish it. It's geeky, but in a subtle way.

I'm also finishing up the space invader plates that I've been working on for oh a year or so. I just kind of set them aside and forgot about them. I had to do a procedural speech for my speech class though and decided to finish them up. I'll take them to be fired next week. I had another student ask me if I could make a set for them so that was cool too. I even have the stuff to do another set. BONUS!

Tomorrow I'll be hitting up the thrift stores here and buying some cake stands etc. and buying some different paints to decorate them.
