Sleepless buddies

My tiny buddies hate to sleep. I think they get it from me since it's 11:35 and we're all still awake. Of course they did nap an awful lot yesterday (almost 5 hours) and they napped again today because they were both feeling puny. Poor tiny buddies.

I think they just don't like to miss out on anything and they can hear me in my room typing away or snipping with scissors or doing something fun that they aren't doing that of course makes it even funner in their minds.

Wes was a snot today. I swear the boy got in to just about everything. It was a constant battle with him today to make sure he wasn't getting in to something he wasn't supposed to be getting in.

I'm on day 11 of my headache from hell. I did break down and buy some excedrin migrain and excedrin tension headache medicine. I hope it actually works this time. I also broke my no coke rule and had three today. My headache isn't nearly as bad as it was last night. I wrote all this down in my headache journal I have to show the doctor on Friday. My mom reminded me that I've always had debilitating headaches, but they keep getting worse and worse (lasting longer and hurting more). So I wrote that down too. Hopefully the doctor will figure everything out with minimal envolement of needles.

Cody is now working 12 hour shifts for the exercise. Poor man. I hate when he works these shifts because we hardly see each other. I know the shifts are even harder on him then they are on me though so I went to the store today and bought him a bag of snacks to keep in his car. He said they did real bombs today and he was really tense when he got home. He couldn't give me too many details, but the man was beat from all the bombs today.

We also got in our 320 gig external hard drive today. To say I was happy is an understatement. I was beyond thrilled. Now I can do my digital layouts without really worrying about the space they were taking up. We also got the CD/DVD burner. Turns out Cody read the description wrong and it burns CDs and reads CD/DVDs. He's not happy, not happy at all.

OH! And I found THE coolest stamping storage. I so totally need to figure out how to put in a picture of it because it's really neat. I got it 50% off because it was the end of the day for this furniture sale fundraiser. I was pretty excited about it and although I haven't finished moving in to it, it's been a big help in keeping me organized.

Speaking of organized, I bought a ton of these sticker organizers from Joanns.com. They work perfectly for my memorbillia. So now I have 2 bags of garbage and a neatly organized box of important stuff. Going through the boxes of crap Cody and I kept, I couldn't help but to shake my head. What were we thinking keeping some of it? It explains the constant decluttering. I think we're stilling getting used to dumping stuff and he and I really are sentamental pack rats. My closet in my craft room is looking even better now that the boxes are gone and stuff is getting organized and purged.

Actually the whole craft room is coming along nicely. I've been decorating my bland stuff with my scrapbook papers and it's turning out rather pretty. I won't be taking pictures any time soon, but it'll be so much easier when we move because all my stuff will be soooooo much more organized. Not just the craft room either, the whole house has been being purged the last couple months. The more I get rid of the easier it is to get rid of stuff and then the more I'm willing to get rid of (if that makes sense). It's very freeing to get rid of stuff we no longer use or things we never wanted in the first place.

I can totally sympathize with the decluttering. I'm doing the exact same thing. I hope the doctor is able to figure out whats wrong and soon. {{{hugs}}}
