I am angry
I found some little observation cards that Wesley's teacher gave us. This is my favorite: "The
Class was ready to go outside when Wesley said he did not want to go outside. Wesley went to the art center, sat down and crossed his arms in front of him. I asked him if he was mad, Wes replied "I'm angry because no one will listen to what I have to say." I addressed his feelings and validated how he felt."
He has his mother's temper.... There's more observations that are much the same. OOps
More observations:
Wesley is at the table, he has markers and paper. The cap fell on the floor, he says to another child "My top fell under the table, can you get it for me?" The child agrees. I ask Wes where he is going to put the top of his marker? He replies "on my marker cause I'm done with it it."
Wes is at the water table, he spills water on the floor and says "utoh, i gotta get a paper towel." He walks over to the sink, gets a paper towel and tries to clean up the spill. He continues to get more paper towels (one at a time) until it is all cleaned up.
Wes is in the science center with the "moldy pumpkin experiment." Wesley says "Yuck, that has gross hair all over it!" pointing to the middle piece of pumpkin.
Wesley is rhyming words, he says "bat rhymes with hat." he then states "cat, sat, mat, lat all rhyme." Wesley continues to rhyme different words.
Wesley has beads and string. He laces a bead on the string, then picks up another and laces it. He continues to lace beads then says "Hey look. I made a pattern, it's yellow, white, then yellow."
Wesley is climbing up the climber, he states "hey look, I'm taller than everybody else." Then he slides down the slide and says "I'm not the tallest anymore" and runs off.
