Happy Birthday MOM!

Okay so I know it isn't your birthday yet, but I'll be there for it this year. WOOHOO. Happy Birthday, you get a daughter and grandbabies for your day.

We fly in on September 30. We're doing a Freedom Bird flight which I am so NOT looking forward to at all. I hate them. We have to show up at the base airport at a god awful hour, wait around, give them our orders (I'm cat 2 this time instead of cat 5 so I'll for sure be on the flight) then we wait for them to call us up and give us seats. Then we wait some more. Then we go into another area that Cody can't go to and we wait some more. Then we get on the plane and they'll probably put us in different rows like they did last time and we wait some more. Then we finally take off and I get to listen to screaming kids that have stupid parents that don't pack stuff for screaming kids to play with on a plane.

I'm so not looking forward to that part of the trip at all.

Then we land in Seattle and I take another plane to Vegas. Cody is getting the tickets tomorrow and I should have a three hour lay over and then be in Vegas at 3 pm. The three hour lay over is good because I won't have to rush and I can grab the boys something to eat.

The only other day they could give me to fly out was Sep 16 and Cody didn't want me to take that date since my wisdom teeth are pulled on the 12th. They want us to take Freedom Bird flights since it's military and thus cheaper then commercial. Kind of sucks, but it's okay because I have a silver lining.

What's my silver lining? I get to see Everclear live in concert for FREE! How cool is that? They're coming out for the Octoberfest thing the base does every year and it's open to all ranks in hanger 949. I'm so stinkin' excited. I just need to find a sitter now. I hope Chris isn't going and he can watch my boys. That would be perfect.

Anyway, happy early birthday present mom. See you at the airport
