A new face

Wesley has this new face he likes to do to use when he's not amused. It's sort of like the ones we used to do to his face when he was a baby, scrunching the middle part of his eyes down and saying "I'm mad." Doesn't have the same effect typing it out as it does in person, but you get the idea.

Lately he does this face when he thinks he should be cross with us for something. It doesn't matter if he's really mad or not, just as long as we think he's mad. As Brianne learned while she was here, Wes has quite the temper now. He hasn't learned yet that his mom has been doing it for longer and is way more stubborn then he is even if it's only by sheer practice. This is the look though when he's fake mad. I love it and think it's so cute. Rat face skull head anyone?

Now if only he hadn't gotten his mother's temper and stubbornness. It took us over an hour of putting him back on his "unacceptable" chair for him to apologize to Brianne for screeching at her when she wouldn't let him back in the basement since no one was down there.

Took oh another 45 min. On the way to the airport for him to say sorry to Zachary for elbowing Zach in the face when Zach was trying to look at Wes' game.

Took another 45 min. Or so for him to say sorry for sneaking in my room and eating my chocolates without permission. He finally came down stairs to tell me he'd eaten one square chocolate and then he started to cry and gave me hugs and kisses. I never did get a verbal "I'm sorry" though.

It seems Wesley just really doesn't like to verbally say I'm sorry, instead he offers hugs and kisses. He'll learn though because I am so way more stubborn then he is, I'd have to be in order to keep putting him on that damn chair until he said sorry.
