We breaked up

Wes has a girlfriend. She apparently broke up with her last boyfriend because she liked Wesley better. Personally? Due to the way she acts in various situations, I think she's a drama queen and did it for the drama.

Anyway, she picked Wesley as her new boyfriend. She was all smug about it to me, but I'm not sure why. Wesley told me later that he wasn't really her boyfriend and that he'd told her she'd have to wait for him because he's just not old enough to date. "You have to be an adult to be a boyfriend." That's right bud, you just keep right on thinking that.

Cody and I took Wes out to lunch at the tea house for his birthday. It was great, we love the tea house. They even brought him fresh baked bread with cinnamon butter and carried out his huge cupcake while singing happy birthday. Those ladies rock.

While we were there, I asked Wesley how things were with his girlfriend. The child ROLLED his eyes at me.

"Well, we breaked up. I mean... I had to break up with her."

Cody and I tried hard not to laugh and I so wished I could have filmed it. I asked him what happened.

"Well. She just... she wanted all my play time. She was always wanting to play everything with me and not with anyone else and she didn't want to play with anyone but her. But Michelle and I like playing together and I like playing with my other friends. So we just had to breaked up. I just couldn't handle her anymore."

Says the newly minted 5 year. OMG. Yay for turning down the drama queen Wes. Good on ya.
