It was a scary day yesterday

Cody came home yesterday and lunch and told me he got orders. His orders were for Washington DC for 200 days and oh btw, he leaves Saturday. He said his work was trying to fight it because he'd get home just in time to leave for Korea.

I may have had minor panic attacks thinking about all that. Luckily my sister talked me down.

Today we found out he does not have to go, they're sending someone else instead. I almost feel bad for her except I don't really for various reasons I won't say. This is the internet afterall.

Anyway, it lead to a conversation between Cody and some female co-workers. Apparently it's bad for this woman to have to go because she'll miss her son and it's worse for moms then dads because dads just don't love their kids as much as moms do.

What exactly does that say about the type of men they married? While Cody may not love our kids in the same way I do, I'm pretty damn sure he loves them as much as I do.
