Return of the Dora

Zach used to like Dora. Not so much any more, but for a while there Dora was his girl.

Now Wes is obsessed with Dora. Not just a little, oh no not him. We bought this Dora Catch the Stars DVD and he loves it. The boy actually knows when something is going to happen on the movie and will warn you. I love watching it with him because he gets so excited. When the show starts up he tells us who all the characters are and yells at swiper to stop swiping. He sings the Bagpack song so that you can help Dora find something. He sings the Map song and knows where they're going. He speaks Spanish to Tiko because Tiko doesn't know English.

Then he goes "MAMAMA HOOHOOOHOOO." when ever the explorer star Woohoo comes on screen. In the opening of the DVD Swiper the Fox steals Dora's new star pocket and woohoo along with the pocket. Wes always gets distressed when that happens. He tries in vain every time to warn Dora that swiper is coming. He almost hits the screen trying to get her attention and he looks so distraught when woohoo is taken yet again. I have to remind him almost every time that we're going to help Dora save Woohoo.

He now tells Dora when other perils await her as well. He yelled "Snowah Bawl Dor" at her when this giant snowball is coming down a hill and she needs to jump. He warns her about goo coming over the steps and her need to climb the steps to get away.

He wiggles his butt at the "We did it" song and talks to Dora about the show.

I don't know which of us is more entertained: him watching Dora and Boots again or Me watching him watch Dora and Boots again.
