My best telemarketer call ever
The phone rang and it was the newspaper calling again to offer their services to us. Just as I was telling her we read our news online and we print coupons from online Wesley picks up the other phone and goes "It's OMA! Hi my OMA!" The poor telemarketer lady, I thought she was going to get all huffy and instead she just started laughing and talking to him.
He really thought it was his grandma on the phone so Zach goes to another phone to talk to Oma too. They were both so disappointed that I made them hang up with "oma" and she just thought it was so funny and said she'd pretend to be Oma for them (they'd catch on quick though it wasn't their Oma).
Anyway, she was an older woman and didn't know you could get coupons online so I ended up explaining that to her and telling her about some websites she could try (lol) and she ended the Conversation with "Ya'll have a Merry Christmas now. Good evening and God Bless."
She sounded so prim and proper when the conversation started and as soon as my kids called her Oma she turned Southern. It was the best telemarketer phone call I've had umm... ever.
