Book Signings

Zachary has something called "homework" now where he brings a book home and reads it and we sign a paper to say he read it. He went in to full detail about what homework was, how you have to do it every night, it makes you smarter and someone has to sign the envelope to say you read it.

So today, Cody came home to take Zachary to school and on the way out the door I asked Zach if he had his white envelope and if mommy or daddy signed it.

Dead serious, Zach looked at me and said "oh, it's okay mom. I had Wesley sign it."

What what? You can't have Wesley sign it buddy.

"Why not? Our teacher said to get it signed so I had Wesley sign it."

Cody and I had the best laugh realizing that Wes had indeed signed it and had been signing it the past couple days. What a hoot.
