Totally Random: The almost finished livingroom/dining room

I thought I'd post photos so I'd quit being nagged (Hi mom, Hi theresa). So the following are some quick photos taken umm... just now.

We finally found the bamboo blinds. They were marked as "futon part." Of course, why didn't we think of that sooner? Cody put those up and we used one to cover the door to no where. In case I haven't mentioned the door to no where before: We have two side doors. One was there for always and has a lovely little porch. One was added and done poorly. Seriously, the thing isn't even level. It has cement stair shaped things that wiggle when you step on them and it just generally doesn't feel safe. The knob also doesn't have a key to it for us to open it with. Nice yeah? Oh. And no one else on our block has it. I have to wonder if the previous people added that too?

That isn't a new couch. It's the old one. I bought a cheap couch cover and some foam. I took off the old back cushions and put the foam on it then pinned the couch cover in to place. It works pretty well for now and looks better then the other one.

We painted an accent wall and Cody put up the TV. We have plans to paint the TV stand blue, but who knows if it will happen.

The boxes are from Japan and Lowe's. We mixed the new ones with the old ones and we put every knick knacky thing we own on them. No clutter for the rest of the house.

Notice my pretty fishing buoy on the red cabinet. Thanks Cody for that. I also have three little one in the white boxes.
