The 4th

I can't wait to move to a place that actually has fireworks on the fourth of July. It's always so cold and rainy here that we end up having them days later. It's just not quite as fun as buying some and setting them off yourself and then watching a big show when 1) you aren't allowed to set off fireworks on base yourself and 2) they don't do the big show on the fourth.

We took the boys to the freedom fest. Zach loved bouncing in the castle thing they had and Wes.... well they had a train and Wes could have ridden that train all day long going "CHOO CHOO!!!" They got to play a couple games, eat some free food and then we went home. They were both so tired and trying to act like they weren't. Crying at every little thing tells me they're tired though.

OH! But the start of the day was the best. We woke up at about 1 am again because of the damn fire alarm. That is definately something I will not miss about this place at all. I'm so sick and tired of being woken up for a false alarm because some drunk jerk pulled the alarm again. Zach actually woke up and freaked out this time. Usually we have to wake them up, Cody carries Zach and I carry Wes and out the back door we go. This time Zach woke up on his own and he was so scared. I remember the keys so we hung out in the car for a bit. You know, eventually I'm not going to rush out of the building when the alarm goes off because of how many false alarms we have here.

Then they tried to say it was soooooooooo hot on the sixth floor that it set off a sensor. Total bs if you ask me. It was not fire heat hot in the builiding and if it was then why don't we have air conditioning here? Hmmmm? I thought it wasn't hot enough for air conditioning (although my 10 or so fans tell me otherwise). Grrrr. I want a house with no neighbors where the only jerk waking me up at 1 am is my husband or my kids.
