The new house
It isn't right now because the other people are still moving out and the wife painted walls forest green, burgundy and one wall was a plaid of the two colors. Oh and the bathroom has a giraffe sponged on border half way up the way.
But:
They have never had issues with the house aside from the sump pump breaking 4 years ago.
It has no carpet in the living room and has pergo-ish floors instead. The living room is bigger then my living/dinning room is right now
There is no mold in the air vents
It's near a big park but not close enough to hear the kids at the park.
It's near a smaller park but the park isn't right in our back yard.
I have a dinning room with a glass door to the fenced in yard.
I have a laundry room.
I have tons of closets that were well thought out.
I have a dish washer.
I have a walk in closet in the master bedroom and vaulted ceilings.
I have a garage.
The carpet is not beige.
The house seems to be well planned out and is less then 8 years old. It's on a not busy street and my neighbors already introduced themselves when we went over there to see it. Well some of them did. Some of them came outside and just looked at us.
The house is big enough and laid out well enough that I can have parties.
There are four cable outlets in the living room.
I have a long but narrow pantry. So I can fill it without losing stuff in the back.
I have a half basement (so a small basement) that includes shelves. I'll be putting the futon etc. down there and putting things to do on the shelves plus food for when tornado season hits us.
All in all, I am very happy with the house. I've already started packing and I'm measuring my furniture to figure out what will fit where the best. We're all very excited about the move.
Oh and the best part? It isn't condemned. We can move in around the 12 of september, but Cody doesn't get back from classes until the 22. So I'll be packing up by myself but I don't mind. I'm moving and I don't think anything can put a damper on that for me.
